The price
Why is it only $200? What's the catch?
There isn't one. Agencies charge thousands because they're paying for account managers, sales meetings and office space. I'm one person with a very efficient process and none of that overhead. I'd rather build a lot of great sites at a price a small business can say yes to.
Are there any monthly fees?
None. Hosting is included. The only ongoing cost is your domain name, usually about $12–20 a year. I handle the renewal and reach out when it's due.
Who takes care of the domain?
I do. I register it, connect it to your site and handle every renewal. The domain is at your cost, usually about $12–20 a year, and I'll reach out before it's due so nothing lapses.
When do I pay?
Once you've approved the written plan, you pay the $200 and I start. Payments are non-refundable, which is why you approve the plan first and see the finished site before it goes live.
Do you offer a referral bonus?
Yes. Refer a business to me and you get $50 once their website is paid for. They just need to mention your name when they reach out.
What if I need changes later?
You get 1 free update within 30 days of launch. After that, updates are $100 each time you need something changed, usually done within a day or two. If you want a complete redesign down the road, that's $150–200.
What if my site needs regular updates?
If your site changes often, like a weekly menu or new listings, I'll put together a custom plan based on what it needs. You'll get the price in writing before anything starts.
The website
Is it really custom, or a template?
Custom. Every site is designed and coded around your business: your services, your customers and how they decide. Look through the work. No two sites share a layout, a font or a color.
Do I own the website?
Completely. The domain is in your name, the files are yours and I'll send you a copy of everything. If you ever want to move it or hand it to someone else, you can, and I'll help.
Can it take bookings or orders?
If you already use a booking or ordering service, the site links customers straight to it as part of the $200. Anything more involved is quoted upfront before any work starts.
Is there anything you can't build?
Very little. A template or site builder limits what your website can do. A custom-coded site doesn't. If it can be designed, it can be built.
Will I show up on Google?
Every site is built so Google can read it properly: page titles, descriptions, local business details, fast load times and a submitted sitemap. Nobody can honestly promise you the top spot, but your website won't be the reason you're hard to find.
What happens if something breaks?
Very little can. Your site is hand-coded with no plugins, no database and no software that goes out of date. I keep a copy of every site I build, so it can always be put back exactly as it was.
Working together
How long does it take?
Usually a few days from the day I have your information and photos. The only thing that slows it down is waiting on content.
What do you need from me?
A few answers about your business, your logo if you have one, whatever photos you've got and a list of your services. About ten minutes, in writing. If you don't have good photos or copy, I'll take care of it.
Do we need to get on a call?
No. Everything happens over message or email, whenever it suits you. If you'd rather talk something through, that's fine too, but it's never required.
I already have a website. Is it worth switching?
Usually, yes. If you pay $40 a month for a site builder, $200 covers about five months of that, and then you never pay monthly again. If you pay $100 to $200 a month, it's one or two months of your current bill. Send me your link and I'll give you an honest recommendation. Switching happens without any downtime.
I'm not technical at all. Is that a problem?
Not at all. You'll never log into a dashboard, install anything or learn a platform. I handle the domain, hosting, security and launch. You run your business.
Your business, properly online.
A custom website for $200, live in days, with nothing to pay monthly.
